At the Stern Center for Aesthetics our mission is to instill a renewed sense of self confidence for our patients. We are passionate about creating natural appearing results while employing state of the art techniques and providing an outstanding experience for our patients in a warm, caring environment.

Dr. Fredric A. Stern has been a Northwest leader in state of the art cosmetic and laser treatments for over 20 years. In 1997, Dr. Stern founded The Stern Center for Aesthetic Surgery, PC, in Bellevue, WA.

Following his education at Columbia University Medical School, Dr. Stern earned his Board Certification in Ophthalmology at the University of Washington and underwent extensive additional training in ophthalmic plastic and laser facial surgery.

In 1987, he joined Virginia Mason Medical Center, heading the Department of Ophthalmology and serving as Director of the Oculoplastic Surgery Division for 10 years. While at Virginia Mason, Dr. Stern performed an extensive number of eyelid, facial and cosmetic laser procedures.

In 2001, Dr. Stern trained with Dr. Jeffrey Klein, inventor of tumescent liposuction and a pioneer in the field. Since that time, Dr. Stern has performed an extensive number of liposuction cases using the Allura Laser with Dr. Klein’s microcannular tumescent technique under local anesthesia.

Dr. Stern has been performing Botox Cosmetic® and facial filler treatments since 1994, and is one of the top injectors in Washington State. Dr. Stern was honored to have been chosen as one of a select initial group of Instructors of the Botox Cosmetic® National Education Faculty, as well as the Radiesse™ Medical Education Faculty when very few practitioners in the U.S. were performing these procedures.  Dr. Stern is also an instructor for Sciton™ Laser.

Dr. Stern is a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the American Society of Liposuction Surgery, as well as a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. In addition, over the past several years, Dr. Stern has had numerous TV appearances, including Northwest Afternoon, Evening Magazine, as well as KOMO, KIRO and Q13 news, discussing and demonstrating the latest techniques in facial and eyelid laser cosmetic surgery, Botox® and liposuction.
