Dr. Kwak has earned a reputation for quality aesthetic cosmetic surgery and outstanding results. He has an artistry for creating natural-looking, dramatic enhancements for the body, face and breasts. He has performed thousands of aesthetic and body contouring procedures for patients in the Philadelphia region and beyond since opening his Bryn Mawr office in 2005. Dr. Kwak was one of the original users of the SmartLipo technology when it was first invented.

Dr. Kwak received medical training at Thomas Jefferson University and the University of Pennsylvania, where he received specialized training in minimally invasive surgery. While serving as faculty at Penn, he founded its first endovenous laser ablation program. As an early developer of laser and ultrasound assistance devices for cosmetic surgery, he simultaneously co-served on the Penn Center for Human Appearance with the Departments of Plastic Surgery and Dermatology.
